Egipto. Plaza Tahrir. Declaraci\u00f3n de la UIT-CI (English version)<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

La ca\u00edda del presidente Mursi, en Egipto, fue el resultado de una inmensa movilizaci\u00f3n revolucionaria del pueblo trabajador, los j\u00f3venes y mujeres concentrados por varios d\u00edas en la Plaza Tahrir. Las Fuerzas Armadas dieron un golpe para destituir a Mursi e instalar un nuevo gobierno de \u00abtransici\u00f3n\u00bb obligados por las circunstancias y para evitar que el proceso revolucionario los pasase por arriba a ellos tambi\u00e9n, que ven\u00edan respaldando al gobierno de Mursi.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

El pueblo egipcio volvi\u00f3 a salir a la calle y cop\u00f3 nuevamente la Plaza Tahir, exigiendo que se vaya Mursi, porque este gobierno del partido isl\u00e1mico de la Hermandad Musulmana (HH) rompi\u00f3 con las expectativas que el pueblo egipcio le abri\u00f3 un a\u00f1o atr\u00e1s. La revoluci\u00f3n del 2011, se hizo para exigir libertades democr\u00e1ticas pero tambi\u00e9n para reclamar mejores salarios, m\u00e1s trabajo y que se terminara con la explotaci\u00f3n de las multinacionales y de los grupos empresarios ligados a los militares. Estas expectativas fueron defraudadas por el gobierno de Mursi, apoyado por las Fuerzas Armadas, que sigui\u00f3 gobernando para las multinacionales, los grandes empresarios y banqueros, pactando con Obama, y avalando el poder\u00edo empresario y corrupto de los militares. El presidente Mursi, surgido de una poderosa revoluci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica, edit\u00f3 decretos que le otorgaban superpoderes como presidente. Mientras tanto, el pa\u00eds se sumerg\u00eda en una grave crisis socioecon\u00f3mica, con una inflaci\u00f3n de 8%, un desempleo que ronda los 15% y una econom\u00eda semiparalizada, donde el turismo, una de las principales fuentes de divisas cay\u00f3 un 30 %, lo que fue haciendo crecer la insatisfacci\u00f3n y la protesta social.<\/p>\n

Por eso las masas salieron a las calles bajo las consignas \u00abFuera Mursi\u00bb y \u00abpor una segunda revoluci\u00f3n\u00bb. Se calcula que la movilizaci\u00f3n en la Plaza Tahrir lleg\u00f3 ser m\u00e1s amplia que las del triunfo de la revoluci\u00f3n de principios del 2011 que termin\u00f3 con la dictadura de Mubarak. Tambi\u00e9n entonces los militares, que hab\u00edan sido el sost\u00e9n del viejo r\u00e9gimen, cedieron ante la fuerza de la revoluci\u00f3n popular y dejaron caer al dictador.<\/p>\n

Otra vez los protagonistas centrales del cambio son las masas movilizadas y no los militares, que en la nueva etapa, eran el sost\u00e9n del gobierno de Mursi y la Hermandad Musulmana, que acaba de caer.<\/p>\n

Rechazamos el golpe militar! Ninguna confianza en los militares ni en el gobierno de \u00abtransici\u00f3n\u00bb!<\/strong><\/p>\n

El golpe militar es un reacomodamiento de los FFAA ante el temor a la revoluci\u00f3n y a las masas. No salieron a reprimir al pueblo por el miedo a un desborde que los derrote a ellos. Quieren asi evitar una mayor desestabilizaci\u00f3n y que se siga desarrollando la revoluci\u00f3n y que pierdan el control. Es una maniobra de los de arriba para tratar de desviar y derrotar la revoluci\u00f3n usando la reacci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica combinando las elecciones con nuevas medidas autoritarias y represivas. Su prop\u00f3sito fundamental no es atender las reivindicaciones de las masas sino perpetuarse en el poder mediante gobiernos sumisos, desde donde proteger sus intereses econ\u00f3micos (controlan el 40% del PBI) en alianzas con multinacionales y sectores del imperialismo, mientras el pueblo trabajador se hunde en la miseria y el desempleo. Adem\u00e1s las FFAA egipcias tienen pactos con los EE.UU de los que reciben sumas millonarias para su armamento y equipamiento.<\/p>\n

Por todo esto repudiamos el golpe militar y su plan de transici\u00f3n pol\u00edtica avalado por las m\u00e1ximas autoridades religiosas y los principales dirigentes de la oposici\u00f3n pol\u00edtica pro yanqui como el Premio Nobel de la Paz, Mohamed Baradei.<\/p>\n

Comprendemos las expresiones de j\u00fabilo de las masas en Plaza Tahrir, por el triunfo de la ca\u00edda de Mursi, pero no compartimos las expresiones de apoyo o de confianza en los militares y la polic\u00eda que son fuerzas represivas y defensoras del sistema de explotaci\u00f3n y de saqueo de las multinacionales y los dem\u00e1s explotadores de Egipto.<\/p>\n

Solo el pueblo, sus trabajadores, mujeres y la juventud revolucionaria movilizados y en el poder, puede lograr los cambios de fondo que han estado planteados desde la revoluci\u00f3n que se inici\u00f3 en 2011.<\/p>\n

La movilizaci\u00f3n revolucionaria debe continuar<\/strong><\/p>\n

La ca\u00edda de Mursi muestra que la revoluci\u00f3n \u00e1rabe sigue vigente y que no lo han logrado detener ni en Egipto, ni en toda \u00c1frica del Norte y el Medio Oriente. Parte de ese proceso ha sido la rebeli\u00f3n popular de Turqu\u00eda contra el gobierno de Erdogan y la continuidad de la resistencia contra el dictador de Siria.<\/p>\n

Ni este gobierno de \u00abtransici\u00f3n\u00bb militar-civil ni ninguno que est\u00e9 compuesto por las fuerzas militares y pol\u00edticas pro empresarios y proyanquis dar\u00e1n salida a los objetivos democr\u00e1ticos y sociales de las masas. La movilizaci\u00f3n de la clase trabajadora y el pueblo egipcio y sus organizaciones deber continuar porque son la \u00fanica garant\u00eda de cambio. Solo un gobierno de los trabajadores y sus organizaciones populares, sindicatos y juveniles, podr\u00e1 una salida definitiva a los problemas del pueblo.<\/p>\n

El problema central de la revoluci\u00f3n egipcia es la falta de una direcci\u00f3n socialista revolucionaria con peso de masas. Justamente ese vac\u00edo es cubierto circunstancialmente por los militares y por formaciones o l\u00edderes pol\u00edticos patronales como antes la Hermandad Musulmana (HH) y ahora el premio Nobel de la Paz Baradei. Las masas est\u00e1n haciendo la experiencia con los gobiernos surgidos de la revoluci\u00f3n, encabezados por fuerzas pol\u00edticas patronales isl\u00e1micas como la HH y otras. Se necesita que al calor de las movilizaciones y las huelgas, se vayan consolidando organismos de masas alternativos, como los sindicatos independientes o las organizaciones juveniles que encabezan las convocatorias a la Plaza Tahrir, para que se planteen ser un poder obrero y popular alternativo.<\/p>\n

En ese camino, y sin dar apoyo al gobierno c\u00edvico-militar, hay que seguir impulsando la movilizaci\u00f3n obrera y popular por un plan econ\u00f3mico que de las soluciones que el pueblo reclama, por la expropiaci\u00f3n de las multinacionales, de las empresas de los militares y de los grandes grupos econ\u00f3micos nacionales, por la nacionalizaci\u00f3n de la banca, por el no pago de la deuda externa para, con esos fondos, otorgar un aumento de salarios inmediato, dar pleno empleo y mejor educaci\u00f3n y salud para todos. Por la vigencia plena de los libertades democr\u00e1ticas, no a las limitaciones y planes autoritarios de los militares y sus pactos por arriba, no a la Comisi\u00f3n de Notables para hacer una Constituci\u00f3n, por la libre elecci\u00f3n de una Asamblea Constituyente Libre y Soberana que discuta todo y que pa\u00eds quiere el pueblo movilizado.<\/p>\n

Viva la movilizaci\u00f3n revolucionaria de la Plaza Tahrir!!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ninguna confianza en los militares ni en Baradei!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The revolutionary mobilization toppled Mursi!<\/strong><\/p>\n

No support for the military! Only the workers and the people in power will be a solution!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fall of President Mursi, in Egypt, was the result of an immense revolutionary mobilization of the working people, youth and women focused for several days in Tahrir Square. The armed forces, that had been backing the government of Mursi, staged a coup to oust Mursi and install a new \u00abtransitional\u00bb government forced by circumstances and to avoid the revolutionary process overtaking them too.<\/p>\n

The Egyptian people again went out into the streets and again topped Tahrir Square, demanding that Mursi go away, because this government of the Islamic party of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) broke with the expectations that the Egyptian people opened a year ago. The revolution of 2011 was made to demand democratic freedoms but also to demand better wages, more work and for an end to the exploitation of multinationals and business groups linked to the military. These expectations were dashed by the Mursi government, supported by the Armed Forces, which continued to rule for multinationals, big business and bankers, agreeing with Obama, and endorsing the power of business and the corrupt military. President Mursi, emerged from a powerful democratic revolution, published decrees that granted him superpowers as president. Meanwhile, the country plunged into a severe socio-economic crisis, with inflation at 8%, unemployment of around 15% and a semi-paralyzed economy, where tourism, one of the major sources of revenue fell 30%, which caused dissatisfaction and social protest to grow.<\/p>\n

So the masses took to the streets under the slogans \u00abOut with Mursi\u00bb and \u00abfor a second revolution\u00bb. It is estimated that mobilization in Tahrir Square came to be broader than the triumph of the revolution in early 2011 that ended the dictatorship of Mubarak. Then the military, which had been the mainstay of the old regime, also yielded to the force of the people’s revolution and dropped the dictator.<\/p>\n

Once again the central protagonists of change are the mobilized masses and not the military, which in the new stage, were the mainstay of the government of Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood, which it has just fallen down.<\/p>\n

We reject the military coup! No trust in the military or in the government of \u00abtransition\u00bb!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The military coup is a rearrangement of the armed forces amid fears of the revolution and the masses. They did not come out to suppress the people for fear of an overflow that would defeat them. They thus want to prevent further destabilization and further development of the revolution and to lose control. It is a maneuver of those above to try to deflect and defeat the revolution using democratic reaction combining the elections with new authoritarian and repressive measures. Its fundamental purpose is not to meet the demands of the masses but to remain in power by submissive governments, from where they can protect their economic interests (they control 40% of GDP) in partnerships with multinationals and imperialist sectors, while working people sink in poverty and unemployment. Additionally, the Egyptian armed forces have agreements with the U.S. from which they receive huge sums of money for their weapons and equipment.<\/p>\n

For all this we condemn the military coup and its political transition plan backed by the highest religious authorities and the main leaders of the pro-US political opposition as Nobel Peace Prize, Mohamed ElBaradei.<\/p>\n

We understand the jubilation of the masses in Tahrir Square, for the victory of the fall of Mursi, but do not share the expressions of support or confidence in the military and police which are repressive forces and defenders of the system of exploitation and plunder of multinationals and other exploiters in Egypt.<\/p>\n

Only the people, the workers, women and the revolutionary youth mobilized and in power can achieve the fundamental changes that have been raised since the revolution that began in 2011.<\/p>\n

The revolutionary mobilization must continue<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fall of Mursi shows that the Arab revolution continues and that they have not managed to stop it either in Egypt, or throughout North Africa and the Middle East. Part of that process has been the popular rebellion of Turkey against the government of Erdogan and the continuity of the resistance against the Syrian dictator.<\/p>\n

Neither this military-civilian government of \u00abtransition\u00bb nor any which is composed of the military and political forces pro-business and pro-American will resolve the social and democratic goals of the masses. The mobilization of the working class and the Egyptian people and their organizations must continue because they are the only guarantee of change. Only a government of workers and their grassroots organizations, trade unions and youth, will be a definitive solution to the problems of the people.<\/p>\n

The central problem of the Egyptian revolution is the lack of a revolutionary socialist leadership with weight of masses. Precisely this vacuum is covered circumstantially by the military and political leaders of the bosses as before the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and now the Nobel Peace Prize ElBaradei. The masses are making the experience with governments that emerged from the revolution, led by Islamic political forces of the bosses as the Muslim Brotherhood and others. There is a need that at the heat of the protests and strikes, alternative mass organizations are consolidated such as the trade unions and the independent youth organizations that are leading the calls to Tahrir Square, so that they consider being an alternative working and popular power.<\/p>\n

On this path, without supporting civil-military government, , it is necessary to continue to promote workers and popular mobilization for an economic plan that provides the solutions that the people demand, for the expropriation of multinationals, the enterprises of the military and of the big national holdings, for the nationalization of banking, for non-payment of foreign debt and with those funds to grant a wage increase immediately, giving full employment and better education and health for all. For the full exercise of democratic freedoms, no to authoritarian constraints and plans of the military and their covenants at the top, no the Commission of Notables to make a constitution, for the free election of a Free and Sovereign Constituent Assembly that discusses everything and what sort of country the mobilized people want.<\/p>\n

Long live the revolutionary mobilization of Tahrir Square!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

No trust in the military or ElBaradei!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Continue the struggle to achieve a power of the workers and the people!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
