The genocidal state of Israel, while massacring the Palestinian people, is strengthening itself by exporting its repressive technology, which it uses against the Palestinians, to countries all over the world.
And in many Latin American countries, whose governments signed agreements to buy the repressive military police technology.
Guatemala, Chile, Honduras, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Panama, Uruguay, and Argentina are among the countries that have agreements with Israel for the purchase of technology and police and military training. In these countries, these technologies are already being applied in one form or another for repression, with the recent cases of Chile and Colombia, which caused deaths, injuries and torture with the same methods used by Israel against the Palestinians. It should be stressed that part of these agreements was signed in Argentina under Cristina Kirchner’s government. It also includes private civil security companies.
On Saturday 3 October at 5 p.m. in Argentina, the regional campaign for the military embargo on Israel will denounce these agreements and demanding their immediate annulment.
Social and political organisations and artists from Latin America and Palestine have called for this campaign. Izquierda Socialista (Socialist Left) and the IWU-FI at an international level, adhere to this regional campaign, as part of our permanent solidarity with the struggle for the liberation of the Palestinian people.
