27 November 2025. While Israel violates the fragile ceasefire and perpetuates genocide in Gaza, various actions will take place on November 29 to support the Palestinian people’s struggle in different parts of the world.

This new global action for Palestine commemorates UN Resolution 181, through which imperialism carried out the partition of Palestine in 1947, handing over a large part of its territory to Israeli occupation. Israel has committed various military actions and massacres against the Palestinian people, such as the Nakba of 1948, which advanced its colonisation process to replace the original population through ethnic cleansing.

Seventy-eight years after that resolution, the televised genocide in Gaza has shown the world the failure of Resolution 181 and the subsequent two-state solution promoted by imperialism and the UN, as in the Oslo Accords. The partition of Palestine has only benefited Israel, which has not hesitated for a second in its colonialist project, hand in hand with Israeli and European imperialism and the cowardly diplomacy of the UN.

In the last two years, the genocide in Gaza and throughout historic Palestine has left more than 70,000 people dead, hundreds of thousands wounded, and 2,700 people killed by the Israel Defence Forces at food distribution points.

The global mobilisation has led to unprecedented isolation of Netanyahu and the Nazi-Zionist state of Israel. Despite the genocide perpetrated, Israel has not achieved either a military or political victory in Gaza, and the resistance is reorganising. Donald Trump pushed a false peace deal to help Netanyahu, planning a new colonisation to divide Palestine for imperialist gains, backed by Arab governments and the Palestinian Authority.

Seventy-eight years after Resolution 181, the UN Security Council has once again ratified itself as an appendage to the colonialist plan of Israel and Trump by approving—with the cowardly abstention of Russia and China—Resolution 2803 (2025). With this resolution, they seek to shield Netanyahu and Israel from impunity, impose a new imperialist coalition government on Gaza, and legalise the military occupation through the intervention of an International Stabilisation Force.

The genocide has awakened the anger of the world, setting in motion a growing process of international solidarity with the Palestinian people. From student encampments in the United States, through mobilisations in various cities around the world, the actions of the Sumud Global Flotilla, and internationalist strikes in the Spanish State and Italy, the mobilisation continues because the genocide continues.

This 29 November, various actions will take place in countries and cities worldwide. Pro-Palestine sentiment via rallies, events, festivals, protests, and also worker strikes like the ones organised by Italian unions. We, the International Workers’ Unity – Fourth International (IWU-FI), are part of the global movement to stand by Palestine and call upon every democratic, trade union, political, women’s, LGBTQ+, and youth organisations to take part in the actions called in each country and to demand that every government cancel economic, political, military, diplomatic, and other agreements with the State of Israel. Taking to the streets this coming 29 November is a fundamental task for the world humanity to defeat the genocidal and Nazi-Zionist state of Israel and end genocide. The mobilisations will reject the new partition of Palestine that Donald Trump promoted and will also reaffirm the commitment to global mobilisation until a single, secular, democratic, and non-racist Palestine exists from the river to the sea.
