We, the undersigned, stand in solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla and its noble goal of breaking Israel’s genocidal siege of Gaza and opening a humanitarian corridor to deliver humanitarian aid, including food and medicine, with its ships. The Global Sumud Flotilla brings together representatives from more than 44 countries on dozens of ships.
In light of the threats to the Flotilla by members of the Israeli government and the drone attack on September 8 on the Flotilla vessel “Family” in the port of Tunis, we call on the governments of the world to protect this humanitarian mission to Gaza.
We call on all governments and international institutions to protect the Flotilla and all its members until their safe arrival in Gaza, ensuring that their mission is not blocked or threatened.
